Thursday, July 10th, 2008 - Thuy + Wojtek
Jess and I spent last Saturday with Thuy and Wojtek. We had already had a chance to shoot their engagement photos a few weeks ago but prior to that during our first meeting, we had decided that Thuy was probably the most hilarious bride we had ever met and were both really looking forward to this day. We started off with a beautiful ceremony, followed by photos at the University of Toronto then attended a tea ceremony and reception at The Garden. Thuy had a big surprise planned for Wojtek that she had been telling us about and we were so eager to see it. One of Wojteks favorite things is when your at a concert and the crowd puts up lighters in the air and starts singing along with the song. Coldplay is one of their favorite bands and with Yellow being one of their favorite songs (for those of you familiar with the music video) Thuy led him to the middle of the dance floor where the groomsmen put a raincoat on him and directed his eyes to the movie screen above. What started playing was the original music video but then turned into a video that Thuy and close friends made where they were acting out walking along the beach and singing the song. Halfway through the song, Thuy lifted a candle in the air and everyone at the reception put their lighters in the air and started singing along. It was so amazing and I know that Wojtek could not believe it. We had such a wonderful day with these two and will definitely never forget all the beautiful details they put in to show how much they love one another.

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008 - Erika + Markus
Erika and Markus got married on June 28th at The University of Toronto, Hart House. After the ceremony we headed over to Leslieville, to a wonderful venue called The Mango Lounge. This is such an amazing place to have a smaller reception. There are three levels to this unique space and even a pond with mini coy fish under the stairs. It was so neat. Here, Erika and Markus celebrated with a tea ceremony, speeches and a toast at the end with glowing blue martini glasses which matched the decor. So fun! I hope Erika doesn't mind me posting this photo of her so big on the blog but she looked so stunning, I just couldn't help it.

Saturday, July 5th, 1980!
We have been a bit behind with our blog posting this past few weeks since we have been so busy, but we are getting caught up now so keep checking back.
Today was my parents 28th wedding anniversary, so I wanted to post some really special photos from their wedding on July 5th, 1980. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

June 26th, 2008 - Francesca + Reyan
Jess and I had a wonderful day with Francesca and Reyan, who's wedding we have been waiting for what seems to be like forever. We had a chance to do their engagement photos in Ottawa last summer, so we have been anticipating this day for quite sometime now. We started off the day at the beautiful Le Germain Hotel, made a few stops along the way and ended it off perfectly at The Liberty Grand. Thanks for the wonderful day and the amazing dessert! ;)
