Thursday, September 11th, 2008 - Lindsey + Brent
Lindsey and Brent got married on August 23rd at the Leisure Estates Bed + Breakfast in Elmira. The property was absolutely gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop, apart from the wonderful one that Lindsey's dad built for the outdoor ceremony. I also have to point out that Lindsey is an incredible designer and made ALL of the bridesmaids beautiful red dresses (I had to post two photos of two of the girls below to show how wonderful and individual they were) and even helped design her own wedding dress. The details were gorgeous and the evening was perfect. We had a great day.

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008 - Marcela+Ronen
Jess and I had a chance to spend some time with Marcela and Ronen for their engagement photos in Kensington Market. We had such a good day strolling around, taking in the sights and eating empanadas.
I also just wanted to take a quick second to tell you about this really wonderful little girl in Kensington. She sits in front of her home with a table and a bench and you can go to her and get your portrait drawn for only $1. It is such a great idea and people were definitely lined up for a chance. She was so cute as she was serious while analyzing faces to make sure she got the details right. The best part would be that inbetween lines she would stop to grab a few pieces of popcorn, her vice. It was totally adorable and beyond cool. I recommend stopping by to get a masterpiece. The last photo is the portrait she was drawing for Marcela+Ronen. :)

Monday, August 25th, 2008 - Maria + Khalat
Jess and I spent last Monday with Maria and Khalat, on day two of their three day ceremony. We were so excited to see these two when they arrived at the first location as they looked beyond incredible! We knew the wedding would be full of colour and were happy to play around during the formal photos as the sun was setting which made for a gorgeous backdrop.
We want to say a huge thank you to John and Konrad at Still Motion. Jess and I are big fans of their work and were very excited to see that they had been brought on board last minute to document the day. They were so creative and John had an amazing bag with tons of lenses that he was happy to let us play around with (We <3 tilt shift) We cannot wait to see the video.
