Monday, November 24th, 2008 - Cheryl + Jonathan
Cheryl and Jonathan got married on November 15th in Markham, on a cold and rainy day. For whatever reason, although not ideal, I secretly really like it when it rains outside on any day and even wedding days, so I was glad to see that they had brought umbrellas and were good to go. I have to say the Cheryl is beyond hilarious and had me laughing through much of the day from the ceremony when the pastor said that she "punched the sky" last week at church while gearing up for her day, (and did it again, once their vows were sealed!) to her commentary during the tea ceremony that had everyone in stitches. I also have to add that Jon was such a sweetheart always making sure Jess and I were taken care of. We were so appreciative and had such a lovely day.

Monday, November 10th, 2008 - Marcela + Ronen
Marcela and Ronen got married on October 19th at Palais Royale in Toronto. These two got ready at houses that were side by side, so when they were good to go, Ronen went and waited with Jess on the sidewalk while Marcela made her way outside to meet him. If couples opt to see each other before the wedding, it is usually just a moment that is shared between the two of them but Ronen's sister and Marcela's friend snuck out before her so that they could see his reaction too. Marcela walked up behind Ronen and tapped him on the shoulder and even though his reaction was pretty priceless, what was even better was the screaming that ensued from the two girls watching as he turned around. It was too funny.
We headed off to the Brickworks for some photos which is so beautiful this time of year and then back down to the ceremony. Palasis Royale is a gorgeous venue and as it was such a beautiful sunny day, all the amazing light flooded inside from all the windows surrounding. We could not have been happier. Marcela and Ronen did a wonderful job of combining their two cultures into the day and after the Hora they celebrated with a traditional Chilean dance which was lead by Marcela's father. Even after all of that we managed to sneak these guys outside for a few photos just as the sun was setting, bringing the perfect end to a fantastic day.
